TRUTH IN BUDGETING NOTICE
The Armada Township Budget Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 - 7:00 p.m. on the proposed township budget for fiscal year during the meeting by electronic remote access in accordance with Michigan law, will be implemented in response to COVID-19 social distancing requirements and limitations on the number of individuals in an indoor public gathering. “THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.”

In the event a member of the public wishes to submit questions or provide input to Board members prior to the meeting, they should contact the Township Clerk by emailing their input to clerk@armadatwp.org. All input received from members of the public prior to the meeting will be read into the record during the meeting. Copies of the budget will be available for public inspection at the Township Hall and online at www.armadatwp.org.

NOTICE OF HEARING
ARMADA TOWNSHIP, MACOMB COUNTY
The 2021 Armada Township Board of Review will be in session on the following dates via electronic remote access:
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 3:30 p.m. (Organizational Meeting)
Monday, March 8th, 2021 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 9:00 a.m. to noon
1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Monday, March 15th, 2021 9:00 a.m. – IF NECESSARY
Hearings are by appointment only. Petitioners may call (586) 784-5200 to schedule an electronic remote appeal appointment. Appointments may be made after you have received your 2021 Assessment Notice.
Members of the public may join in on the meetings with the links posted at the bottom of this notice.
Based on the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) epidemic orders regarding public meetings, the March Board of Review Meetings MUST be held virtually by electronic remote access.

APPEALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1:00 P.M. MARCH 10 TO ENSURE THEY WILL BE REVIEWED BEFORE ADJOURNMENT ON MARCH 10;

Or by email to assessor@armadatwp.org Appeals may also be dropped in the secured drop box at the entrance to the Township Hall. NO appeals will be heard at the organizational or final meetings. Due to health department restrictions ALL meetings will be held virtually.
In the event a member of the public or persons with disabilities wishes to submit questions or provide input to the Board of Review prior to the meeting, they should contact the Township Assessor by emailing their input to assessor@armadatwp.org or calling Assessor Tom Schlicting at 586-784-5200. All input received from members of the public prior to the meeting will be read into the record during the meeting.
The final ratio of assessments to true cash values as determined by the Macomb County Equalization Department is 50% for all classes of property.

Public information regarding COVID-19 Vaccine Drive Thru at the EMS

COVID-19 Drive Thru Vaccines age 65 and over only: SMART Bus is running a registration call center to sign up seniors in Macomb County to be placed on a WAITING LIST for vaccine appointments. This list provides initial information including contact info to the County, who will then notify seniors when appointments become available. This program also focuses on ensuring anyone who needs a ride to get to/from the vaccination site has one through SMART, free of charge. Only senior citizens 65 and older who are residents of Macomb County are elidable for vaccination at the Drive Thru site.
Vaccines are provided by appointment only, the vaccines are being provided at Richmond Lenox EMS Headquarters on 32 Mile Rd, again BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The call in registration process will collect four pieces of information, which is provided to Macomb County for the wait list you will be ask to provide: First and Last Name, Date of Birth, Address, and Phone Number. You will then be contacted when an appointment is available, again please do not arrive at the EMS until you have been called with an appointment date and time. There are two ways to contact the Vaccine Registration System: By Phone at (586) 421-6579. Phone Center Hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (M-F), 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Sat), 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Sun). Residents may also Email their request to: Macombvaccine@smartbus.org the System accepts emails 24/7, however an e-mail request does not confirm you have a vaccine appointment, again your appointment will be scheduled in a separate call from the Macomb County Health Department. Finally, the EMS has no COVID vaccine on site for walk-in's or persons arriving without an appointment, further the EMS is unable to make any appointments for vaccination, so please do not call our office regarding the Drive Thru. The Township Tax office is open daily Monday through Thursday from 9a.m. to 2p.m. beginning December 1, 2020. You may pay your taxes in person, on line, through the mail, in the drop box, or at Armada’s Choice One Bank.
