Dog Licenses

Dog licenses applications are available at the Township Offices. Applications must be mailed or taken in person to the Macomb County Animal Shelter, 21417 Dunham, Clinton Township, MI 48036. The Animal Shelters phone number is (586) 469-5115.

If mailing in the application, be sure to include: valid rabies vaccination certificate, proof of spay/neuter, if not on the certificate, check or money order, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Make checks payable to : Macomb County Health Department.

All dogs four months of age or older must be licensed.

Current Fee:

Male or female - $12.00 Unsexed - $7.00
After April 30, licenses are delinquent and all licenses are $24.00.

The Macomb County Animal Shelter will automatically mail renewal license applications to anyone who currently has a license.
